There are two ways to apply to our scholarship:

1. Online Application

You can complete our application and submit all documents online! The online application can be found here. 

2. Paper Application

If you do not wish to complete the application online, you may download and print the application, below. Once complete, you should turn in your application packet to the designated contact person at your school by the application deadline.

Application Materials

  1. Complete online or PDF application form 
  2. Two letters of recommendation from individuals who are not related to you 
  3. Career statement (minimum 100 words) outlining why you chose the career you wish to follow and the school you plan to attend 
  4. Copy of school transcript

scholarship eligibility requirements

  • Must be planning to graduate from a WUHSD high school in June
  • Must have a minimum 2.0 grade point average (GPA) upon graduation
  • Must demonstrate interest and skill for a vocational or related career
  • Must be planning to enroll in a college or vocational school to further prepare for your career 
  • Must be planning to enroll in a college or vocational school to further prepare for your career no later than February 1, 2026. 

Scholarship Award

The scholarship award is $2,000 paid in two installments

  • The first installment ($1,000) is paid with proof of enrollment in a college/vocational school following graduation, submitted no later than February 1, 2026 
  • The second installment ($1,000) will require the student to provide evidence that they have successfully completed the first term of college with a minimum of 9 units and a GPA of 2.0, or the first half of a vocational program.
